With a lifelong passion for sewing and textiles, I turned my beloved hobby into a thriving career. What began as a part-time passion is now a full-time business, where I specialize in alterations for all types of clothing, from casual wear to outfits for special occasions.
In addition to clothing, I create beautiful soft furnishings, including custom curtains, Roman blinds, bespoke cushions, and seating. Operating from my cozy garden studio, The Sewing Room offers a warm welcome to all who value craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I’m very picky as to where I take my alterations, the place I would normally use wasn’t taking orders! I contacted Shelley and took my jumpsuit in on the Thursday, by Sunday I had a call to say it was ready! So reasonable too! I think I may have found my new alteration go to!
